    • Using plotmaple to return multiple plots

      I need to generate 4 different plots (one for each multiple choice option).

      Is there a way to get all 4 plots using just one plotmaple call?

      I currently have 4, and the question seems sluggish when previewing.  I'm wondering if it is because of all the back and forth between Maple TA and Maple.

    • Displaying unsimplified expressions

      The following works in Maple proper, but not in Mobius.  Why is that?

      use InertForm:-NoSimpl in a:=2*(3*x) end use;
      InertForm:-Display(a);

      My goal is to display 2(3x) or even 2*(3*x). But definitely not 6x. Works in Maple, but Mobius gives Typesetting errors when I try to use Display.

      I'm trying to avoid solutions that involve strings since that introduces a whole other can of worms regarding whether or not the signs are positive/negative, and whether or not 1's should be displayed ...

    • Grading equations in a specific form

      I am struggling to find a way to create a maple graded question, that accepts a quadratic equation, but only in a specific form.  For instance,

      I need one question that only accepts as correct the standard form, another one that only accepts factored form, and other that only accepts vertex form.

      Maple treats all three as equivalent (because they are) but how then can I restrict a student to use a particular form?

      As a side question, I seem to have better luck when the response area is only used for the RHS of the equation.  Whenever I try to have a maple graded response area that includes "y=" as part of the correct answer, I get all kinds of errors.  Why is this?

      Any help is greatly appreciated!
